Memory of the Little Lake

This project has been my visual exploration of treasured childhood memories. Transcribing their contents between mediums allows me to reflect and rediscover them emotionally. It is important to me to process the change of my memories, losing their innocence while I discover their importance in my identity as an adult.

At the same time I am experimenting with exposition of the oil painting by plating it horizontally, making the still wet paint reflect light and appear to resemble the lake from my memory.
